Located within a natural reserve, among the birds and open sky, the sound of the ocean is ever present as you look out to the sand dunes as far as the eyes can see.

Casa Presente Guesthouse is for all those wishing to come home to themselves, to find a place of rest among the vast cliffs, huge stretches of sand, the beautiful Portuguese coastline and gorgeous wildlife that surrounds. Among this landscape of succulents, fig trees, and Cannis you will find rest and retreat.

We welcome individuals, couples and families looking to connect with the gifts this place has to offer.

The Casa Presente Guesthouse

The house is a beautiful and unique earth building, made with all natural materials.

Casa Presente is the new name of the Casa Bamboo B&B. The original owners were inspired by a commitment to environmental awareness and they wanted to make use of the local clay soils in the region which make this kind of building possible. This incredible earth based technology creates low environmental impact and an excellent indoor atmosphere during both warm and cold months. The thick walls (60cm) keep away the warmth of hot days in summer and the cold in winter. The high ceilings inclined in wood have good thermal insulation and also create a welcoming atmosphere.

The house is divided between the owners residence, the guesthouse accommodation, and the communal space which is also the dining area for guests and a small cafe open to the public during the high season. Although it is all within the same building, these areas are independent and have an intention to create a place of quiet retreat and sanctuary space.
